They went round with a portable dvd player and approached people. They are from the Church of God, and tells me that there's such a thing called "God the Mother". I decided to give them some time to explain about the heresy teaching and to alert everyone of this matter. World Mission Society Church of God, is different from Church of God. This is originated from South Korea. God the Mother is their belief. They claim that on earth, we have father, mother and children, hence, our spirit is also born from a mother, hence, the heavenly mother. In the video and pamphlet, they quote Genesis 1:26 , the "let us make man in our image", and says that 'our' means God the father and mother. Another passage is Galatians 4:26, "but the Jerusalem that is above is free, and she is our mother". The cult thing is here, how they explain the spirit and the bride. As we know, Jesus is gonna come again to take us back as the bride. They claim that the Bride is "god the mother" and in the end of days, the spirit and the bride will come and take us back. They believe in the trinity, hence they claim that the second coming of Jesus is their church founder, Ahn Sahng Hong (Wikipedia, 2010), and the Bride is the wife, the current leader of the church, after the husband died in 1985. It is written in the pamphelt, that "In order to become God's child, we have to meet God the Mother who gives us eternal life through the water of life". Then, "As the last Adam stand for Second Coming Jesus, Eve the wife of Adam, is God the Mother who is the wife of the Second Coming Jesus" / "The Spirit and the Bride, who are the last Adam and Eve, say "come to receive the water of life." Please meet God the Father and God the Mother to receive free gift of eternal life!" Closing: "God the Mother, who gives all mankind eternal life through the new covenant Passover is the last secret of the Bible." They pray in the name of Ahn Sahng Hong, cool rite? Apparently, he left the Seventh Day Adventist and started his own cult. Came outta cult to form another cultier cult. If you want the pamphelt, come get from me.
